Hello! I have talked about the digestive tract before and how the digestive tract is known as “the second brain”. Indeed, 95% of serotonin (for happy mood) is made there, not in the brain. |
It’s not the best idea to take anti-depressants to bring up the serotonin levels and not correct the deficiencies in the digestive tract that could be largely responsible for the low mood. Not having enough beneficial flora is a real culprit when it comes to low serotonin. Know that doctors practice guidelines do not tell them to look into what’s going on in the digestive tract that destroys the serotonin metabolism. Many of them do not know 95% of serotonin is not made in the brain, but in the digestive tract. Only 5% is made in the brain. |
Now you know, other than good digestion and immunity, there’s another very important reason to use a probiotic that is guaranteed to be protected from stomach acid, so it can get to where it needs to be to start protecting and building the gut in a healthy way. I work with probiotics that are very unique in how it’s been manufactured. Most of the products on the market look good on the label, but what’s in the product is, frankly, just not there. It has died off-a real problem with probiotic products. To know more about which probiotic to use, reach out to me. I am happy to share. I used to have IBS 21 years ago and no longer have this today. To your “happy” day! Tricia |
