It’s Time for Safe Green Cleaning!

It is very important you understand that when it comes to keeping our homes safe “common” household products can be very dangerous to you and your family. Although these ‘common’ household cleaning chemicals have the main purpose of cleaning, you will learn they are not “clean” at all. As a matter of fact, they are extremely toxic and are harming are health in multiple ways. We use a wide variety of scents, soaps, detergents, bleaching agents, softeners, scourers, polishes, and specialized cleaners for bathrooms, glass, drains, and ovens to keep our homes sparkling clean and smelling good.
…But while the chemicals in cleaners like bleach, disinfect to make our homes gleaming and germ-free, many also contribute to indoor air pollution, are poisonous if ingested, and can be harmful if inhaled or touched.

The greatest toxic exposure we have is actually in our very homes. Pretty scary, huh?

Did you know that there are over 80.000 chemicals registered for use in the United States, but less than 500 have been tested for toxicity by the EPA? Pretty scary huh?

The good news is that we do not have to resort to these toxic cleaners in our homes. There are some wonderful “green” cleaners that have been clinically supported and have outperformed many leading brands including other “green” cleaners as well. With all of the allergies, asthma, lung disease, auto-immune issues, and cancer on the rise, it is time for a CALL TO ACTION to switch brands. Your health is important and so is your families! I am so glad I made the switch 20 years ago. Not only has our health improved, but we also have saved a ton of money through the years. Knowing you can get the results without compromising your health is a big deal!
As a wellness coach and educator, I love helping people to be as healthy as they can be. We can not escape every toxin, but we have a lot of control over how much we are exposed to. Reducing the toxic overload is so important for our health.
So , what are you waiting for? It”s time for safe green cleaning! Earth Day is around the corner, but let’s make every day an Earth Day!
